NEW MEXICO By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 4 of the act of May 13, 1924, c. 153, 43 Stat. 118, as amended by the act of August 19, 1935, c. 561, 49 Stat. 660, by the act of August 29, 1935, c. 805, 49 Stat. 961, and by the act of June 4, 1936, c. 500, 49 Stat. 1463, it is ordered that, subject to valid existing rights, the following-described lands be, and they are hereby, withdrawn from all forms of appropriation under the public-land laws, including the mining laws, and reserved for the use of the Department of State in connection with the Rio Grande Canalization Project, authorized by the above-mentioned acts: New Mexico Principal Meridian T. 18 S.. R. 4 W., sec. 20, lot 3; sec. 29, W½E½, and W½; sec. 30, E½SE¼ (part of lot 3). The area withdrawn contains 623.90 acres. This order supersedes as to any of the above-described lands affected thereby the withdrawal made by Executive Order No. 6910 of November 26, 1934, as amended.
