By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the statutes of the United States, it is hereby ordered that Executive Order No. 9017 of January 12, 1942, entitled "Establishment of the National War Labor Board", be, and it is hereby, amended so as to provide for the appointment of associate members of the National War Labor Board. Such associate members shall be authorized to act as Mediators in any labor dispute pursuant to the direction of the Board. Associate members shall receive compensation and expenses during any period of service in like manner as regular members of the Board. FRANKLIN D ROOSEVELT The White House, January 24, 1942.
