By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by paragraph Eighth of subdivision SECOND of section 2 of the Civil Service Act of January 16, 1883 (22 Stat. 403, 404), paragraph 6, Subdivision VI of Schedule A of the Civil Service Rules is hereby amended to read as follows: "6. During the period beginning July 1, 1940 and ending June 30, 1941, all positions in the Federal Bureau of Investigation except fingerprint classifiers." FRANKLIN D.
