LOUISIANA By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me as President of the United States and in order to effectuate further the purposes of the Migratory Bird Conservation Act (45 Stat. 1222), it is ordered that the following-described lands, comprising 2,926.87 acres, more or less, in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, be, and they are hereby, reserved and set apart, subject to valid existing rights, for the use of the Department of Agriculture as an addition to the Delta Migratory Waterfowl Refuge, established by Executive Order No. 7229 of November 19, 1935: ST. HELENA MERIDIAN T. 21 8., R. 19 E., radial secs. 22 to 26, Inclusive; radial secs. 30 to 32, inclusive; radial secs. 36, 39, 42, 44, 46, 47, 50, 51, and 52. T. 22 8., R. 19 E., radial secs. 2.4,6, 8, and 9. The above-described lands are under the primary jurisdiction of the War Department, and their reservation for waterfowl-refuge purposes is subject to use by the War Department in connection with the improvement of navigation in the Mississippi River and the uses thereof, and the administration of the area for wildlife conservation purposes by the Department of Agriculture shall be without interference with any existing or future uses or regulations of the War Department.
