By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by section 6 of the act of March 12, 1926, 44 Stat. 203, 206, and otherwise, and in the interest of the national defense, it is ordered that the control and jurisdiction over the following-described property be, and it is hereby, transferred from the Secretary of War to the Secretary of the Navy: All that portion of the military reservation known as the San Diego Barracks, situated in the City of San Diego, State of California, comprising block No. 31 of new San Diego according to the map of new San Diego made by A.
