ALASKA By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the act of June 25, 1910 (ch. 421, 36 Stat. 847), as amended by the act of August 24, 1912 (ch. 369, 37 Stat. 497), and subject to the conditions therein expressed and to valid existing rights, it is ordered that the following-described tract of land in Alaska be, and it is hereby, temporarily withdrawn from settlement, location, sale, or entry and reserved for use by the Department of War as a site for a radio station: Beginning at corner no. 1, which is identical with corner no. 4, U.S. survey no. 1434, and also identical with corner no. 2, H.E. survey no. 102, which is an iron post appropriately marked: thence, west 3,965.3 ft. along south boundaries of U.S. surveys no. 1434 and no. 381 with meanders of Gastineau Channel to corner no. 2, which is an iron post marked "C 2 S 381" on side; thence, south 1,500.0 ft. to corner no. 3; thence, east 6,605.3 ft. to corner no. 4, from which U.S.L.M. no. 381 bears S. 12°42' E., 2,449.4 ft.; thence, north 1,487.7 ft. to corner no. 1 of H.E. survey no. 102, from which U.S.L.M.no. 381 bears S. 7°54' E., 3,914.5 ft.; thence, west with the meanders of Gastineau Channel to corner no. 1, which is identical with corner no. 4, U.S. survey no. 1434, the place of beginning. Said area is tide land located approximately 9½ miles north of Juneau on the Gastineau Channel, and contains 227.09 acres, more or less.
