By virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 3141 of the Revised Statutes of the United States, as amended by the Act of February 27, 1877, 19 Stat. L., 248, it is hereby ordered that Puerto Rico be attached to and made a part of the Internal Revenue Collection District of Maryland for all purposes authorized by the internal revenue laws of the United States. This order will be effective on and after July 28, 1933. FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT The White House, July 11, 1933.
