Mrs. Sarah L. Curtiss may be appointed to a clerkship at $1,260 per annum in the Veterans' Administration without regard to the civil-service requirements. Mrs. Curtiss is the widow of Dr. William W. Curtiss, formerly a commissioned officer in the Public Health Service and an employee of the Veterans' Administration.
