By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 709 of the Military Construction Authorization Act, 1970 (approved December 5, 1969, 83 Stat. 293, 317), and section 301 of title 3, United States Code, and as President of the United States, it is hereby ordered as follows: SECTION 1. The Secretary of Transportation is designated and empowered to exercise, without the approval, ratification, or other action of the President, the authority vested in the President by section 709 of the Military Construction Authorization Act, 1970, respecting the establishment and conduct of an International Aeronautical Exposition. SEC. 2. Each Federal department and agency is directed to cooperate with the Secretary of Transportation in the performance of his functions under this Order, and shall, to the extent permitted by law and within the limits of available funds, furnish him such assistance as he may request. SEC. 3. The Secretary of Transportation is authorized to redelegate within his department the functions herein-above assigned to him. RICHARD NIXON The White House June 29, 1970
