By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, including the Trading with the Enemy Act of October 6, 1917 (40 Stat. 411), as amended, and as President of the United States, it is hereby ordered as follows: Executive Order No. 8389 of April 10, 1940, as amended, and Executive Order No. 9989 of August 20, 1948, and all delegations, designations, regulations, rulings, instructions, and licenses issued under such orders are hereby continued in force according to their terms for the duration of the period of the national emergency proclaimed by Proclamation No. 2914 of December 16, 1950.
