WHEREAS, IN MY JUDGMENT, THE PUBLIC INTEREST REQUIRES THAT Arthur A. Quinn, Comptroller of Customs with headquarters at New York, New York, be exempted from compulsory retirement for age as provided below: NOW, THEREFORE, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 204 of the Act of June 30, 1932, 47 Stat. 404 (5 U.S.C. 715a), it is ordered that the said Arthur A. Quinn be, and he hereby is, exempted from compulsory retirement for age under the provisions of the Civil Service Retirement Act of May 29, 1930, as amended, for an indefinite period of time, not extending beyond June 30, 1951.
